Cetyl Alcohol
A non-volatile, solid fatty alcohol, often derived from plant sources, it is a key functional ingredient in cosmetics. Unlike volatile alcohols, it does not cause dryness; instead, it acts as a softener, texture enhancer, and emulsifier.
Cetyl alcohol in cosmetic formulations improves product structure, giving it a smooth, creamy texture. It also helps stabilize emulsions and reduces the greasy feeling on the skin. It is gentle and suitable for various skin and hair types when used in appropriate proportions.

- It acts as an emollient, reducing the feeling of dryness.
- It contributes to the stability of oil/water emulsions.
- It improves sensory perception and ease of distribution.
- Compatible with most emulsions and cosmetic active ingredients
